I spent couple years of my career studying Traditional Americana with all the books I could get my hands in, the most special is Flash from the Pastand if you know this one you simply know that I will be posting soon but this one from Herbert Hoffman is a small bible from his work that every artist really into tattooing should have.
Herbert is like Sailor Jerry of Europe and his artwork and flash was remarkable and above his time.
I was able to score this one in one of my trips from my European Tours from 2009-2013 and have been very inspired to create my last tours in US that started in 2023… If you wanna see some creations they are on my studio page of Acqua Santa Tattoo. When I hit 108 designs I will make a small book collection of them. Stay tuned.
